Cheesecake Stuffed Banana Bread

Banana slices
Chocolate spread or Nutella (to swirl, optional)
Preparation:
Preheat the Oven:
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Butter and flour a 9×5-inch loaf pan.
Prepare the Banana Bread Batter:
In a mixing bowl, mash the ripe bananas with a fork until smooth.
Stir in the melted butter into the mashed bananas.
Mix in the sugar, beaten egg, and vanilla extract.
Sprinkle the baking soda and salt over the mixture, then mix in the flour until just combined. Set aside.
Prepare the Cheesecake Filling:
In another mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese with sugar until smooth.
Add the egg and vanilla extract, and continue beating until well combined and creamy.
Assemble the Bread:
Pour half of the banana bread batter into the prepared loaf pan.
Spread the cheesecake filling over the layer of banana bread batter.
