All you need is a 16-ounce container of sour cream (really, it’s two 8-ounce containers; the shop I went to didn’t have the 16-ounce of the specific kind I like), some bacon, and that’s it.
Check whether they are legitimate. The one time I used synthetic ones had the worst flavor I’ve ever had.
Cheese, finely chopped. Any kind of jack cheese would be great, but my favorite is cheddar.
Can of ranch seasonings. Although they are available in several varieties, my personal favorite is the original.

Mixing ranch dressing with sour cream is my go-to technique. I mix the two together and then add the bacon bits while whisking. Once everything is mixed, I add the full lot of cheese.
Try it with some chips or crackers of your choice. You should also not eat it all at once. Unless, of course, Nick decides to stop making fun of me.
