1 pound ground lamb (or beef)
2 tablespoons tomato paste
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1 cup beef or chicken broth
1 teaspoon dried thyme (or 1 tablespoon fresh thyme)
1 teaspoon dried rosemary
Salt and black pepper to taste
2 tablespoons all-purpose flour (optional, for thickening)
For the Mashed Potatoes:

2 pounds potatoes (Russet or Yukon Gold), peeled and diced
4 tablespoons butter
1/2 cup milk or cream (adjust as needed)
