1 can (28 oz) diced tomatoes, undrained

Preparation

In a skillet, heat 1/2 tablespoon of olive oil and brown the Italian sausage. Set aside once done.

Sauté onion, bell peppers, and garlic in the same skillet for 3 minutes.

Add white wine and simmer until it reduces significantly, enhancing the flavors.

Stir in the diced tomatoes, Italian seasoning, red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper. Let it simmer for 10 minutes to meld the flavors and thicken the sauce.

Return the sausage to the skillet, add parsley, and cook for another 5 minutes.

While keeping the sauce warm on low heat, cook the noodles as per package instructions.

Drain the noodles and add them to the skillet, tossing them to ensure they’re evenly coated with the sauce.
