My daughter-in-law gifted me this loaf and my hubby went nuts over it. It’s addicting to say the least

1/4 cup salted butter

1/2 tsp salt

Instructions:

1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan.

2. In a large bowl, cream 1/2 cup softened unsalted butter with 3/4 cup granulated sugar. Add 2 eggs, 4 tbsp milk, and 1 tsp vanilla extract.

3. In a separate bowl, whisk 2 cups all-purpose flour, 2 tsp baking powder, and 1 tsp baking soda. Gradually add to wet mixture, then fold in 1 cup mashed bananas.

4. Pour banana bread batter into the prepared loaf pan. Bake for 60 minutes, until a toothpick comes out clean. Cool on a wire rack.

5. For the salted caramel sauce, melt 1/4 cup salted butter in a saucepan. Stir in 1 cup packed light brown sugar. Add 1/2 cup heavy cream and 1/2 tsp salt. Bring mixture to a boil and then simmer for 5 mins. Remove from heat to cool.

6. Drizzle caramel sauce over bread serving.
