Thanksgiving can be a lot to handle. Whether you are organizing a big or small event, getting the food ready can feel overwhelming. Instead of trying to find quick ways to do things, I prefer to find ways to savor the same tastes and customs. These pecan pie bars are a great alternative to making a pie. They have the same ingredients and flavor but are quicker and easier to make.
List of items needed to prepare a dish.
1 package of refrigerated pie crusts containing 2 crusts, each weighing 16 oz.
1 cup of clear corn syrup
1 cup of packed brown sugar
1/2 cup of butter without salt, melted
3 big eggs
1 teaspoon of vanilla flavoring
