Preheat the Oven:
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
Prepare the Chicken:
Season the chicken thighs with paprika, thyme, salt, and pepper.
Sauté the Onion and Garlic:
In a large oven-safe skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and cook for 3-4 minutes until softened. Add the minced garlic and cook for an additional 1 minute.
Prepare the Rice:
Add the rice to the skillet and stir to coat it in the oil. Pour in the chicken broth and stir well.
Add the Chicken:
Place the seasoned chicken thighs on top of the rice mixture, skin side up.
Bake:
Cover the skillet with foil and bake in the preheated oven for 35-40 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes to crisp up the chicken skin.
