The Dilemma with the Pepper Shaker
McCormick, a well-known spice company, has been accused of decreasing the amount of pepper in their containers by 25%. To give you an idea, their cans used to have around 8 ounces of pepper, but now they have about 6 ounces.
Watkins Inc. has expressed concern, saying that McCormick is using a visual technique to make it seem like they are selling more pepper in each tin than they really are.
