Meghan Markle, the Duchess of Sussex, shared a touching moment with her daughter, Princess Lilibet, during her and Prince Harry’s trip to Nigeria on May 10.
While visiting pupils at the Lightway Academy, Meghan recounted a sweet exchange with her 2-year-old daughter.
“Our daughter, Lili, she’s much, much tinier than you guys,” Meghan said, adding, “She then says, ‘Mama, I see myself in you.’”
Meghan reflected on the deeper meaning, explaining, “Yes, I do see myself in you, and you see me in you.” She told the children,
“As I look around this room, I see myself in all of you as well.”
The couple, who also have a five-year-old son, Prince Archie, joined in singing, dancing, and games with the children.
